Wow, these "antique" engines and pumps are often STILL running and still in use across the country. I guess if it works, well, why mess with it? :rof:

Here is a wild looking 100-year-old pump system known as a JERKERLINE which uses small back-forth motions of a central drive house, distributed across rods and cables to pumps out in the field.

This one is powered with a modern motor but uses awesomely simple rodline system to drive two other pumps off the middle one.
