Anyone know how our Rollag friends in Fargo and Moorhead are doing? Been thinking about them and praying for them too.

Most are too busy to do anything else. There are a lot that are in harms way.

Keep praying. It works!! we are living proof here in Enderlin.

There certainly will be volumes of campfire stories this year. I wish I were sitting by one now.

Tim, Myrtle, and some others have come up to camp out at Rachel Baker's place in east Moorhead with me. We're having a little flood party here. I evacuated my apartment in downtown Fargo yesterday just in case something happens and I end up with no plumbing or heat and I can't get out. I've been sandbagging for 6 straight days and seen a lot of different neighborhoods that have lost or are in danger of losing a lot of homes so far. People are really coming together to help. Today is a little quiet as we just wait for the water to crest. It sounds like it will be an unsettling few days though. If you feel like helping out wait now until the end, becaue these 3 million sandbags need to go somewhere when the water is gone. :( Keep listening to the AM radio too, thats where the best information has been. Thanks for your thoughts for everyone up here. We're all in good spirits! :)

My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.:praying:
Crystal When we had the flooding out here it was the local radio station that kept everyone informed to what was going on, the radio station was in the flood plain and they made a remote translator station the studio during the last flood this year they were in a portable studio which again was in the flood plain was moved by a local towing firm to high land and run on temp power and phone lines, cell phones played a great part in keeping them on the air.
The recovery will be the next thing to come up.
The best to all:praying::praying:
