We have just gotten word that our next crest could be worse than the first. Please pray that this will not be and that our homes stay dry.
God is faithful. To God be the glory. Amen

Here we go again Rick!
I think the river forecast people are crazy... I am with Denny Wallacher thinking the Red will be closer to 37 that 42 feet. I am hoping that there is a lot of CYA built into their latest prediction.
We will pray for cool temperatures and a slow melt so that all of the river channels can catch up and maintain new runoff.
Hang in there!

To All,
So far we have kept the powder dry.
What miracles we have seen in our area. Right now our crest has been somewhat downgraded and we are getting a dike in our area that will protect our property.
Thank you Lord for the care you take of us and thanks to all who have responded to us via prayers and concerned phone calls. They were all so important to us.

Hi Rick and Karla,
Even though I haven't responded, know that I have been praying for you and all involved in flooding. While Fargo has gotten a lot of press during this flood season, their neighbors just across the river in Moorhead haven't gotten nearly as much coverage.
We need to remember that many of our families and friends in the entire region are being affected. Some other affected areas/cities are:
rural Cass County
rural Clay county
Harwood
Hickson
Oxbow
Enderlin
Kindred
Lisbon
Valley City
Jamestown
I hesitated to start this list for two reasons.
1. I didn't want to hijack Rick's thread
2. I didn't want to leave anyone out
I hope that Rick will approve my request that others add other locations that are affected by the high water so we can include them in our prayers.
Later,

I absolutely approve Jerry.
You never have to look very far before you see someone in much worse shape than you are. We must continue prayers for all of the valleys in the watershed. We are living through an event that is historical and we will measure all others by it. I hope I never see something exceed it.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all in the FM and surrounding area effected by the flooding.
Our faith will get us thru it all.
It is as hard to write about the flooding as talking about it, out here on the west coast I wasn't directly envolved with the flooding when we had it but I seen what it did.

Extra National Guard troops are in to help Lisbon. There have been Chinooks and Blackhawks flying over us all day. Not many getting much sleep there.
The ambulance service from Lisbon has moved to our fire hall in Enderlin as a precaution.
Kathryn is in peril from the failing dam on Clausen springs which could add to the crest in Ft. Ransom and Lisbon if it fails at the wrong time.
Plenty to pray about. :praying:
Conditions in Enderlin continue to improve. We have crested and are looking at recovery efforts soon.
Thanks to all for the support.
Rick and Karla
