Nels C. Nelson Passes Away

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know that my father Nels C. Nelson passed away this evening at the Nursing Home in Ulen, MN. He had put up a good fight with Parkinsons for several years. We all tried to be ready for this moment, but it is never easy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you complete this difficult process. I am the youngest of 12 and our kids don’t have any living grandparents. 3 of the 4 passed before they were born. We can be thankful for the time we had to spend with them and celebrate them passing to a better place with no more pain and suffering.

Nels Curtis Nelson

Rollag, Minn.

Died Friday, April 10, 2009, at age 77 in Viking Manor, Ulen, Minn.

Survivors: wife, Dolores Nelson; two sons, Sherwood (Sheila) Nelson, Brian (Janna) Nelson; and a daughter, Carmen (John) Vlasin.

Services: Visitation is tonight from 5 to 7, with a prayer service at 7, in Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, Minn. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 in Rollag Lutheran Church. Burial: Church cemetery.
