Great newsletter Dawn. I'm also using the post to put in a request for two sash weights for the Ortner. These are the old counter weights in older double hung windows. They are about 12 inches long with an eye at one end (where the rope was tied on) and about 1.5 to 2" in diameter. They are usually made of cast iron. We are going to use them as counter weights for a pull down water spout if we can work out the details. I must have recycled twenty of them when I cleaned out my Mom's garage but that's water over the dam. If anyone has two, please drop them off on the deck of the Ortner Station. Thanks for the help.

Will some shaft work? We could weld a washer or something on the end to tie a rope to. That would be quick work at a certain welding shop in Fargo!
