Willie Schock passed away this past Friday morning. He showed model engines in the Model Building for many years. He and a group of guys traveled from Minot N.D. each year usually going to the show at LeSueure MN. and then headed back to Rollag and would help out for a week or more before the show. His health had deteriorated in the past six months and spent this last week on Dialysis.
His funeral will Tuesday July 28th 2009 at 2 P.M. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church Minot N.D.

1932-2009
Willie Schock, 77, Minot, ND, passed away Saturday, July 25 2009, in a Minot hospital.
Wilbert Marvin "Willie" Schock was born February 22, 1932, a son of John and Emma (Gottschall) Schock, on a farm near Benedict, ND. He was raised on the farm and attended a country school in the area.
Willie enlisted in the United States Navy in 1952. He proudly served his country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1956.
Willie married Theresa Haberlock September 5, 1958, in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where Willie worked for various trucking companies until starting Schock's Safe & Lock in 1974. He continued as the owner/operator until his retirement in 1994.
Following his retirement, he enjoyed building miniature gas engines, attending auction sales, taking care of his yard, an occasional trip to the casino, and following his grandkids sporting events.
He attended Our Savior Lutheran Church, Minot.
His loving family includes:
Wife of 50 years, Theresa, Minot; children, Michelle (Jay) Boughner, Ramsey, MN, and Patti (Brent) Detlaff, Minot; grandchildren, Kyle and Cole Boughner, and Marcus and Meghan Detlaff; brother, Walter Schock, Spokane, WA; sister, Irene (Bob) Geiser, Billings, MT;
and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert and Carl Schock; and sister, Lorraine Evenson.
Funeral: Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Minot.
Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are preferred to the Little Hands, Loving Hearts Child Development Center at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Minot.

Prayer's go out to Willie"s family in thier loss:praying::praying:.
Willie will be missed not only in the model area where he did a good job promoting the model building but working with those that showed their model's
Willie always had a smile on his face and most times had a joke or two to tell.
