In order to be more prepared in the sign area for next year, I would like to have a list of signs needed. It could be a long winter, and that would be a great project to keep me rolling.
I have No Digging signs, for the water line and power lines that are known.
I did speak to one of the Administrators earlier, but have since lost her email.
As long as there is money for materials, I will gladly donate my labor to make signs for the whole place.
Her and I spoke about a sign for the individual show based on the theme.
When do we know what the next years theme will be?
Im thinking along the lines of a show board along the hiway, maybe a 8x16 sign?
Im here to help.

I am with WMSTR and also the Hawley Golden Riders who park cars all weekend. We discussed @ our meeting after the show that we would like signs @ the main highway gate that states NO DOGS ON SHOW GROUNDS, and also one that points the campers to the East gate. We run into trouble with these two items every year. So I'm putting a bug in your ear. Pass it on and good luck I hope you can do it.:computer:

Sounds like a good plan.
For the camping sign, we can use different colors for different campsites maybe.
NO DOGS should be in white background with black letters so there is NO MISTAKE what it says.
What does Hawley Golden Riders do? I'm new to the area, so I'm still finding things out here.
Thanks for the input. I 'll have the layout ready and see if I can get it approved.

The dog one sounds good. The camper one needs to send them to the East gate to be directed to their camp site. The Golden Riders are a horse club we have our own camp on the West side of the hill on the outside of the fence. We park the cars on that side of the hill during the show. On horseback and foot. :thumb:

Thats very interesting.
My wife and I were wondering if you knew anyone that could help get us going with two horses we bought.
I don't know a thing about them, and would love to know more about them.
My wife used to ride when she was younger, but I've only been on one twice.
The last attempt was my third ride, and it was short lived. I didnt know about something called Barn Soured. I found out the big boy rides out, comes back fairly quick, and much to my surprise, did NOT want to go back out.
I saw sky, grass and stars in one quick move.
We need someone to train us and our horses both. They are older boys, and used to be trail horses. The last five years they have been someones lawn ornament.
If you know anyone that would be interested in helping us get going, we'd sure love to hear about it!
