Arvin Charles Teige
Arvin (Arnie) Teige 60 of Shevlin, MN died on Friday, September 18, 2009 in Albany, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Hill Assembly of God Church in Bagley with Pastor Gary Fry officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-8 PM with a prayer service at 8 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Bagley City Cemetery in Bagley. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted with the arrangements.
Arnie was born March 22, 1949 in Bagley, MN the son of Walter and Gladys (Paulson) Teige. He resided in Minerva Twshp. and attended the Minerva school. Arnie graduated from Bagley High School in 1967. He worked for his father in the trucking business and on construction on the Iron Range. In 1976 he went to work for the city of Bagley street department. For the past several years he has served as street superintendent.
He was married to Jacqueline King on June 7, 1977 at Lake Itasca.
Arnie was a member of the Lake Itasca Pioneer Farmers, Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Association and the Albany Pioneer Farmers. He enjoyed old engines and tractors, fishing, and deer hunting,
Survivors include- his wife- Jacqueline of Shevlin One Daughter- Monarae Teige of Bagley, MN Three Sons- Charles King, Walter Teige and Ray Teige all of Shevlin 2 grandchildren- Evan and Alesha
He was preceded in death by his parents.
