Jan has been in the hospital for a week today. She had gotten sick with flu like symtoms a little over a week ago. Last Friday she seemed to be getting better but by Saturday she just wasnt doing very well. We took her to the ER Saturday morning in witch see was given IV fluids and was starting to feel better. Sunday morning she looked real good so she agreed I and Dad could run to Rollag and finish up our winterization. Sunday afternoon things turned for the worse and she was rushed into the ICU at which time the doctors didnt think she would survive. It was determined she had a very serious bladder infection which in turn gave her a blood infection and also a blood clot in her liver.

She is starting to feel better but is still very week. She will probably get moved to a nursing facility early in the week to get some rehabiltation.

We ask prayers for her recovery.

I have been meaning to give a update all this week. Mom is still in the hospital and is doing better. She started having problems with her kidneys this week and they are gradually improving. Yesterday she had 12 xrays from head to toe to check her bones. Thankfully they all checked out ok. If they hadnt they would have done a bone marrow biopsy to check to see if she had a blood cancer. She will be there until at least Monday. She is getting some physical therapy after I argued with the Dr. and is getting stronger. She will probably still go to a nursing facility for a short period for some more therapy.
