My Aunt Trish has Strep...cokle pnumonia...VERY BAD! She is in a hospital in St Cloud they are calling her siblings to come...Please pray for her. Thank you Leaha :(

Hey Everyone I just got home from St Cloud...Trish is much better. Altho she is still on a ventilator...the prognosis is good. Her oxygen levels are real good. They will keep her sedated for another couple of days and then wean her off the machines, etc. Thank you sooooooo much for the prayers and thoughts. She will have to be in the ICU for at least a month. This ICU allows her to have visitors but only if they are well. She has alot of tubes etc hooked up to her. She is being fed intravenously. They come in and rearrange her and do massages and stuff. Her color is good and she has a low grade fever that they give her Tylenol for. She gets restless when she starts to wake up. She does not like the tube down her throat and when she wakes it bothers her. She has a long road of recovery. Jay and the kids are much better and are pleased with her care. At first jay said it was touch and go and he was up for 36 hrs. Give that boy a gold star...he knew something was really wrong and he stood his ground until they took care of business. Please keep the prayers coming the whole family needs them. As this goes on the hospital will be where the family is most of the time. If any of you that are related could help spell the family it would be appreciated. I will be going down Christmas day...I have to work on the 26th but I can be there most of the day. The breathing tube is out. Did you get that: The miserable ventilator has been removed from her room! She's a happy camper, too. Smiling, hugging Jay. Her only complaint is that she's tired. And her throat hurts, of course. Things are looking up. Way up. Praise God.
