To All;
It is with deep regret that I write this.
As some of you may have seen by some of the paperwork which I have been passing around , Penberthy is actually owned by TYCO Flow Control, and is part of the TYCO Valves and Controls division. This has been since 2000.
This past Monday, January 18, we were notified that our plant in Prophetstown, Illinois is closing and the production lines are moving to other states. The line which I work on, the valve area, is moving to near Brownsville, Texas. The jet pump area, which has the injectors, is moving to Massachusettes. The shut down of the production cells is slated to start in April, this year, with the jet pump cell going first. The total end of production will be sometime in October when the flat glass gage and valves get moved.
To the best of my knowledge, at this time, the two guys who did all the injector assemblies, testing, and rebuilding are not going to move to Massachusettes, They are taking retirement.
Quite a while back, before my wife was seriously injured in a freak accident with a power entrance door, I was trying to establish an injector repair around my home. I was prohibited from doing that as long as I was employed by TYCO. That will be changing at some point.
Now that the first week after the announcement is done, I hope to get some answers so that a person can get help with their injectors if need be.
I will do the best I can to help.
Thank you.
Sincerely;
Paul

Sad information that more production in the USA is closing. I hope your home shop efforts will be fruitful.
