just thought i would post some work in progress of my 7.5" gauge switcher i built in 11 th grade i have finally got some time on my hands to try and finish it.
the engine is a 0 6 0 ( did not have the middle set on in the photo) , it is chain drive, has a on board air compressor for the workin air brakes, working lights and horn
i plan on haveing it running at the itasca steam show this year
maybe get the ball rolling on a 7 1/2" gauge railroad at the hill
I kno tim moen already wants me to paint it black and put a purple stripe down the side

Looks great Shaggy!

Now if you made it sound really loud and obnoxious, and put a really loud and obnoxious horn on it, and make it smoke worse than a steam engine... it will be just like the real thing!

BTW... Check your PM's. I explained your picture issue there.

thanks
working on it
it is already loud but i m going to add a oil dripper to the exhaust so the smoke comes out nice and black as for the horn sounds just like the real deal which oddly enough came out of a 72 c10 chevy
i still have to get pics of the riding car up it is made to look like a oil tanker but actually stores the air for the air brakes
