It was printed in the January 1956 issue of “Steam Traction.”

That poem describes Rollag the best Ive ever heard it described!

I believe there was one that was written even earlier than this one. By William A. Nelson, it was about the very first steam threshers reunion (unofficial) in 1952. I'll post it when I find it laying around somewhere. I used to read it at my grandpa's.

I sat in the TMB one year and listened to an older gentleman play a guitar and sing a song he had written about the show. He mentioned a lot of exhibits, and names in the song. It had to be 15 years ago that I heard it, and I cannot remember any of the lyrics, but I do remember part of the refrain referred to "the Rollag show in the fall" or something to that effect.
I wonder if anyone else remembers that song, or who wrote / preformed it?

Bob Bilden from Bagley, MN would be the man that sang that song years back. It would be great to have someone post a copy of him singing it here on the Forum if it is possible.
