What a great day! Could not have been better!
I have a lot of pictures, and I will post them as time allows.
Here are a few to get it started. If you were there and have any, feel free to post them in this thread!
First... Jerry Christiansen with his "new and improved" Prony Brake.

Wide shot of the event, taken from the top of the Straddle Truck. Lunch time, so a lot of our visitors were in feeding their faces...

Wimpy could have a show of his own!

And finally, and Bolens GT repowered with a 3.5 - 5 HP IH engine. He had it on the brake, and it did 3.8 HP!

Sometimes I wonder how the food can get prepared on time and be so great, when all you ever see is them having fun like this. :biglaugh:

I noticed that in a lot of the pictures of this event. There are a lot of people with big smiles on their faces!:)

Mark, I agree whole heartedly!! We couldn’t have had a better day from a weather, number of people, and great company standpoint! Jim and Lynette are spectacular hosts and I wouldn’t miss that event ever, if possible.
The freelance engine we had on display is 90 years old and belonged to a dear friend that passed away in 2006……..he’d have sure been proud to see it running like that! The boiler is brand new and we (and nearly everyone under the age of ten at steam up) had lots of fun with it. There will be an article in the book this year, so I don’t want to wreck the story with too much information. Thanks for the great photos.
Incidentally, there were more steam engines running and more people in attendance at Larson Welding on Saturday than we have at steam threshing shows we attend!
Steam school here we come…………see ya there.

Thanks Ray,
One thing I really like about your scale engines they are generally doing something. That keeps everyone interested. See you on the Hill.
