Ross Straddle Truck

If you have been around Rollag for very long, you have heard the phrase... This project "needs a friend" or a "champion".

Well... the Ross Straddle Truck needed one bad, and this past winter found one in John (Louie) Larson. Though a lot of folks helped to bring this rusting piece of history back life, it took Louie pushing the effort to get it all done! What a great addition to our ever expanding line of machinery on the grounds!

I helped Louie a little on this project, and was in at Larson Welding and saw some of the hours he put in on this project. I asked him at Steam Up how many hours he had into it, and I think he forgot to add up all of the actual days he has into it. He was quite modest about the time & effort he put into it. Louie is very easy going and fun to work with. Great job Louie and everyone else who worked on this project. :congrats:
