I was just going through some pictures of this years show, and found these two I took of John Tesse's American Abel plowing. I am not sure who all was operating the engine at the time. If anyone else knows, please post it here.
This engine is a regular in the Briden / Roen sawmill, and previously Danny Roen was 1/2 owner of the engine, along with John Tesse.
These pictures were taken from the bucket truck. I was with Chris Moen up there... he was shooting video for the upcoming WMSTR video production.

Second one, from a little closer...

Hi Mark,
Bob McMillian of Manatoba is on the engine looking ahead and I believe that is Don Frye (spelling) from South Dakota with his hand on the lever.
I can't identify anyone on the plow.
Later,
Jerry

Jerry, Bob McMillian and Don Frier were life time operators of Keifers Advance untill he sold it. Bob has his Case car down in 06. now i guess they are open engineers for who ever needs help? Bobs got a 75 at home and Don has a 65.
Heres a picture showing dad and Jims 110 from back in the good old plowing days of Rollag. im guessing this was in 1982, the year i was born :)
Theres probably not too many left around that remember Jims 110 having a jacket. i don't think it was on there too many years before they had to take it off:( sure did look good though!

I knew the truck would come in handy when we bought it! I think there may have been a video scene or two caught from it too!

For whatever reason the link was broken. So was the one you posted in your last post (little blue "?"). I went and looked at it, re-did it with the same address, and it is working for now!
Appearently links to the smokstak gallery are not reliable Colin. They must not allow linking to their gallery, but sometimes it works? Just don't know!
Your a savvy guy Colin... With all of the pictures you have to share, you should open a photobucket account. It's easy, and free! You can have the same picture(s) on as many sites as you want to. I have some photos that are on 3 different sites (same photo) just by linking back to photobucket. Very reliable way of posting photos.

The plowing ended up being pretty good on Satruday. Kory and i went out there on his 65 and 8 bottom Case plow. the 28-80 Abel also went out along with a 25-50 Avery, 75 Holt, 8020 JD with mounted plow and Donny Duffners 3 JD 830s hooked together.
Hopefully its ok to post this link to a You tube video of us plowing. shows us starting out after we adjusted the clutch half way up the hill, after a pop off and a little water lifting we were on our way.

When i click this link it shows the Abel in the main viedo, but you can look at others ones lower and find the 65 and other things at rollag.
the picture shows the crowd and the 28 Abel on its way up the hill.
had a good time at the show, was so nice it never rained!:thumb:

Also wanted to ask if anyone saw Kory and i on Fox news. they took some footage and did a little interview with each of us Satruday before we went out plowing. usually i get scarce when cameras come around but the girl was cute so i couldn't say no.:bump:

Here is the video of the Cory's 65 plowing that Colin mentioned above.
Looks to me like Colin steering, Cory firing, and I am not sure who else is on the engine. Maybe Colin can comment?
