can any one tell me who owns the gorge wite that is stored in the tmb? i was wonering if its ok to move it out and back in come spring long enugh to pull out my 2 tractors that were by the door out thanks case vac

Someone will post the guys name. He is from Pelican Rapids. The engine is for sale, and that is why it is by the door... in case he finds a buyer and it needs to go away.

It shouldn't be a problem to move it out to get to your stuff... just be sure to put it back, and if you need help be sure to ask for it. There are plenty of people who live close who can lend a hand.

Just make sure you "pull" and "push" in the right places. The steamers look big and like you couldn't hurt them but there are some castings and other parts that were never meant to be pushed or pulled without doing damage to the engine. You may already know this but I thought I would mention it for other viewers benefit also.

The GW is own by Jim Johnson of Pelican Rapids. If your pulling it out be careful I noticed last year when they were putting it away there was an issuse with the steering!! I'm not 100% sure what was going on but something to keep an eye on.
