Has WMSTR produced calendars in the past? Would this be of interest to anybody now?

Not that I know of Jeff. I think the problem would be marketing, unless we made them September to September! Would be kind of cool to have some of our more unique exhibits pictured every month.

Having a calender that starts in Sept. and ends in Sept. would be very unique, to say the least! It would remind everyone what the most important part of the year is out at Rollag.=D

I think you are on to something there Casey. I have seen similar calenders to what you are talking about. We could sell them at the show and the annual meeting. We would need a person to oversee the project.

Does WMSTR already have a professional printing company on speed-dial for stuff like that? We could ask the forum community for pictures they would like in there, so the person-in-charge would simply need to bring those pictures to the publisher. Beyond that, planning as far as quantity needed is all that is necessary since there are already places to sell novelties, right?
This would be a neat project with a little help.
CafePress.com does custom calendars. Pick the calendar format, download the pictures you want and then you can order direct from them. I think a regular print shop would be cheaper but you wouldn't have to deal with minimums.

I'd be interested in putting something together if I got the go ahead. I can get some price quotes on it. (this is my job, I do it every day) :)

I will ask Lynette what she thinks of the idea. This will have to be decided by the board, and the next meeting will be after the first of the new year. Sounds to me like Crystal would be a good champion of a project like this. Keep the ideas coming!
