This is not really the place for this post but it does relate to Jerry Broten, AKA High Water. Jerrys nickname is a whole other story.
Just a quick note about Jerry's engineering skills.
After years of working on the Ortner, Jerry ran the Steam Roller for Jim & Lynette Briden, I believe since it came out to the hill. He took a lot of pride in running the roller and was quick to offer lessons to anyone who showed intrest. A couple of years ago the roller had it's operating pressure knocked down. As I recall he had either 10 or 15 lbs between pop off and the point where his injector wouldn't take. Jerry didn't complain, but saw it as a challenge. To run through the parade without popping with such a small window is not easy , but he managed to do it quite well.
I'm sure Jerry is up on his new roller today, and has all the pressure he wants.( And still room for more water )

P.S. Anyone with a 2004 show button has a picture of Jerry in front of the roller. I believe the only individual pictured on a button. Some of us had fun with it and had him sign and number our button.
