In the WMSTR "Steamers" video the narrator states that Rollag has been a part of Minnesota Historical Society since 1973. I could find nothing about WMSTR on their website. Do you have to keep renewing or is it a one shot deal? I would think being recognized by them would give Rollag more exposure. They also have matching grants available although it is probably too late for this year.

That statement is in error. The only tie we have is in our constitution and by laws. It states that should the show ever dissolve that remaining assets will become the property of MHS. Other than that we have no relationship. We have checked on grants in the past from different entities and there have always been way too many strings attached and they would become more of a burden for us than they are worth. We should always keep our eyes open but mostly grants are developed for organizations other than the type we operate.
