engine feature for 2008

Can some one post what engine or engines are going to be featured this year?
Also could someone update the WMSTR web page with that info and contacts.
It's only 8 months till the 2008 reunion.

Does your group have an engine other than John Deere that they are thinking of featuring?

I talked with the chairman of the gas engine committe and the engine's that will make up the feature are John Deere, Waterloo Boy ( a company that John Deere aquired, and a large producer of gas engine's) and Root & Vandervoort ( who used John Deere as thier sales outlet and many of the R&V had a DEERE & CO tag)

So get those Waterloo Boy and R&V'S out and ready for the show only a few months away.

I plan on bringing a Air Cooled Waterloo Boy that has Very much meaning to myself and my brother as it was one of the engines that were given to us by our uncles Miles & Clarence long time members of WMSTR and this Will be for them.

That sounds like a winning combination for this year's show. It helps to think about the show upcoming especially when it is supposed to be -30 to -35 here tonight:(
