I have some aluminum flywheels off of an old tractor and some other aluminum pieces that need to get to the guys who do the foundry. whom do I contact about getting this stuff where it goes? and more importantly getting it out of my garage!:hide:

thanks

slugger

I forgot to mention we cut alot of aluminum at work and have quite a bit of scrap, I would like some advice on approaching the owner about donating some of the high quality aluminum skeletons and scrap to the foundry.

Welcome to the WMSTR Forum Slugger...

You can just haul any scrap alluminum to the hill some time this summer, before the show. I don't know how often you get there... Probably should make some kind of arrangements to lock it all up with scrap prices what they are.

As far as advice for approching your boss about donating scrap, all I can suggest is to tell him we are 501c3 and that we would provide him with paperwork nessasary for a tax deductible donation, if that will help you any.

Have fun on the forum!

Slugger,

Contact Aldin Grahn at rnagrahn@smig.net or myself at 763-258-4666 (cell)

We'll take every ounce of aluminum scrap for the foundary you or anyone else cares to scare up.
