Space has been getting tight, so we are considering building up!

Is this Rollag, or what? :biglaugh:

Reserve your spot now!!!

Mark,

What a great idea! Look at all the small meeting areas that are provided as well as the increased camping space. The campers on the top should get good flow when they flush and the ones on the bottom will be the only ones that need to get their tanks pumped.

Great idea because when you run out of room, the only place to go is up! ;)

I am trying to visualize some of our members trying to get "home" to one of the upper levels after a night of "de-briefing" after a hard days work :p

Mark:

Is the borard going to require engineered drawing along with the proposal on a HIGH RISE camp ground? Is there a height limit?
You know there are members that could or would possibly do this, this looks like a good idea, from the top unit one could get a good view of Gunderson Pond etc from 3 of the campgrounds.
This would be a good way to utilize the camping area.
When can one get started? Earlie SPRING??
This would be like living in a high rise in the expensive part of town.
Jerry brought up some good points for the design work.

Talk was of starting immediately Jim, but someone brought up the engineers having to be involved for projects of that magnitude. Unfortunately, we did not budget for this added expense this year, so we will have to go through that process as soon as we can get some $$ budgeted for this. :D

that's funny.

Now there's only one question...how do we move them all out on monday night?? :)

The campers could be set in place and removed by the National Guard. If we corrodinated camper arivail/departure times with the Guard training weekends, they could bring a couple helicopters to place/remove the campers. As long as the drawings are accruate (as if that usually happens) the deck and stairways could all be pre-built and set in place at the same time.

Mark, we should be able to get this going by show time. With the Guard's cooperation the expenses will be small enough that we take some money out of the John Deere Expo fund.

Not funny folks there is a rumor that a contingent from Peasant Valley is already at work with snow blowers getting ready to build tracks into the campground so they can get the big ugly in to start work!:hide:

Mark,

Obviously the sober campers would be permitted on the top layer for many reasons.:hide::hide:

I was excited about the expansion until the above limitaions were added. Now I'm not sure who we could put above the first level. I guess that's why Aery is the Mayor.

Not too sure about that! Look what I saw when I zoomed in really tight on the top camper... :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Looks like we are going to have to add a ladder truck to the already long list of WMSTR FD wants.:D

Okay; so this is past one month on this idea. I got a little busy.
I finally had some time to peruse this area. Boy; did you raise my spirits when I saw the artist's conception!! You must have been stuck in a fairly large snowstorm that day.
I did see a bit of a challenge when I could not find a spot to set our 30' fifth wheel. Would a slide-out present an off-balance problem?
If a water tank was set over the top-most unit, there could be ample water pressure especially at the lower units. And the flush power could be fairly strong. Especially if you use a 2" feed line.
Better patent this design before some one steals the idea for new skyboxes at the Metro Dome.

The high velocity flush line is a intriguing concept!:biglaugh:

Rick,
One of your neighbors had that high velocity flush caused by his preasuirzed blue tank. By the story he tells messy is a better description of his experience tha intruguing I think that's why they make check valves.

Poo back flow preventers would definitely be an advantage for the low lying campers in this plan!

I think I will be very happy sitting by a campfire in the single layer lower lutefisk juction campground gazing across the lake at this development.

As a neighboring resident I am filing an injunction, with the Steamers courts, to cease all further planning on this project.

It is so obvious that with our history of heavy rains that this development will have a high likely hood of washing into Gunderson Pond.:hide:

Until the developer's provides adequate protection agains sudden camper slide. We will continue to fight efforts for continued development.

Life is just not complete until you have protestors :)

All problems with waste have been solved! A new invention by I. C. Mkumen ,a Norwegian inventor, called a Anti-Lift Pump is truly amazing! All waste directed at it defies gravity and continually it chews and spins it smaller and smaller till it disappears. (or it swallows it- kind of like chewin tabbacy) This invention has just been approved by Minnesota Millineum Code # 23541321.35454321,35454134899752....3547764 sub-section 489854156874 paragraph 4898754156ade. for use in multi-level structures. I have not seen the kangaroo court assembled in Peasant Valley for a long time. This could be the start of another session.:bannana:

I can't wait until I see someone post that since it is a proposed multi level complex we will have to get a ladder to take the case to a higher court. I am waiting for someone else to post it because it is such an old joke I cannot bring my self to do it.

That show could have gone on the road! I think details should be left as camp fire fodder and not recorded here.:hide:

Sounds like I inadvertantly step in something with my attempt at humor. I have only been a Peasant Valley resident for 3 years.

Sounds like it was a doosy. So one could fill me in sometime in the future maybe?

It's all great humor. Ask for the story at the log cabin some night. :)
