I am wondering if I can bring my 3 wheeler to the grounds during steam school, I have not had it permitted for previous shows or at any time by wmstr.
we are going to be at the show grounds working during steam school and I would like to run the 3 wheeler instead of my truck for the back and forth stuff.
thanks

Just be sure you have liability insurance on it. Good idea to have proof of insurance in case you are asked for it.

so there is not the restriction of having to have the "rollag" sticker on it when the show is not going on, is that correct?
I just need to have insurance on it so if I run some one over its covered. :hide:

I will have to call aflac or gieco friday and get that done.

It is always required to have insurance on a personal vehicle on the show grounds. It is strictly enforced during the show. The stickers you see during show time mean that the owner of that vehicle has provided proof of insurance to show administration, and we have a copy of it on file. If the sticker is not present, you are asked to park the vehicle and if you don't park it, it will be impounded.

Obviously during the summer the resources are not there to enforce this like we are able to during the show, however it is still a requirement and could be enforced under certain circumstances.

It should also be noted that during show time you have to provide a reason you need such transportation to move around the show grounds. We are really trying to discourage use of golf carts and ATV's during the show, as they are probably the biggest complaint we get from our visitors, and other members. I have cut my use in half in the last couple of years since I have became involved in some of the decisions regarding these vehicles. We all need to cut down on the use of them to keep the peace!
