I just thought I would post a few photos I snapped over the weekend. I'm hoping to put together a few clips of video, and when I do, I'll post those over in the Media section!

Thanks for sharing the pictures for those of us that couldn't be at Steam School. Your pictures are GREAT. I can point a camera and push the button, I can't "see" the picture like you can and get the nifty angles.

From here in the sucker state of Illinois (don't know how we got that "handle", but sometimes it fits), Thank You for sharing your pictures.
I thoroughly wish I could have been there. But between fuel and flood, my plans had to be changed.
Hope to make some time at the grounds when we come up for the Ysen reunion in late July.

I did do a little tinkering with colors in Lightroom to saturate the coloring, especially the clouds, and I also use a polarizing filter most of the time outdoors. Between Crystal and I, we got quite a few shots of the steamers, she's got a few real impressive ones too, so they'll be up for use for the book if anyone is interested!

Mark: The photos are shot in 10.2MP RAW format, at something like 3200xsomething resolution. Large files in the RAW format, but so much I can do with them. The photo of the Minneapolis at the spark show was actually unfiltered and untouched, I just got lucky and was able to hold the camera still at that point in the evening :p
