Hi Blaine,
I did not see you at Rollag today, but I found your B! I just wanted to tell you that it looks very nice! You did a very good job on that tractor! I was at Rollag today (Sunday) with my 1943 Farmall H. It was fun. I took a picture of your B and attached it to this post. I also put in a picture of my 1943 Farmall H. I hope I can ge my 1949 JD A done for Rollag next year.
Andy.

Nice looking H Andy!
I would like to have one some day. I take care of a friends M, and I really like the Farmall line of tractors, even if they are not green!
Glad to see you made it to the show!

Hi Andy! It’s too bad our paths didn’t cross during the show. Or maybe they did and we didn’t know it. Anyway, next year, just go in or around the farm shop, located right behind your muffler in the picture, and ask for Blaine or Gary. I bet you and Blaine would hit it off.
That is a nice looking H! I see you have a belt pulley on it also. You will have to bring it up to the threshing area next year and belt it up to the corn chopper for a while. I bet it would sound pretty nice chewing up a corn bundle. We had some smaller tractors on it this year. We just spread out the corn in the bundles a little to give the tractor a nice load.
We chopped allot of corn this year, at least more than I ever remembered doing. There was usually a pretty good crowd watching when ever the chopper was running. It works out pretty good. It is not as dusty or itchy as the grain bundles. The horse area cut quit a few loads of corn. It is nice to have some things running in between threshing. We also had a gentlemen bring his John Deere tube elevator with a hit and miss engine on it. That was a nice exhibit. I hope he comes back next year. The grain would go from the threshers, into a flair boxe, through the tube elevator, into a vintage truck, though a auger and finally into a modern truck that is capable of safely hauling the grain to town. We did a pretty good job with always having something going on in that area.
See you next year Andy! http://wmstrcommunityforum.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Yes, I always thought it would be fun to run something off the belt pulley or PTO at the show. I don't use the pulley alot, but I do for things at home sometimes. This H used to be my Grandpa's, but he died in '98 and now I own the tractor, he used the belt pulley a lot. I recently used the belt pulley to start my Dad's 1944 John Deere B after it had not been run in a few years. The B would start sometimes, but still needs some more work. It has a antifreeze leak somewhere on the bottom of the engine, but I can't see where it is coming from because my Dad's JD B has the war time frame that is more enclosed underneath, so all I can see under the tractor is the water drain plug. Hopefully we will get it going soon and bring some of our John Deere's out to Rollag next year too. Hope to see you guys next year!!
Andy.

Mark, I can't remember the Serial # on my Dad's B, but I will check when I get a chance.
