Were you folks using 'disappearing' supports for the power screed? Was a power trowel used to finish the job?

The screed that was used had a very wide bottom and as long as the operator had the outside forms to start with he could screed it very close with out the use of the pipe method. I don't think that screeds weight was even 40 #s.
Also we floated the slab many times, I left so the final on the slab I am not sure what was done.
 
I went away with the bull float to finish up the Otto building and when I got back the concrete was set too hard to float it any more. There was talk of a power trowel, but by the time Roger would have been able to get it there, it would have been set too hard for that as well.

It looks fine for what it is intended for.
