Hi all,

If you are wondering, I can confirm that this Saturday, March 14, is a Work Weekend at Larson Welding.
Last month I had to leave about noon, so I don't know what got finished and what is left to work on.

Hope to see a bunch of Rollag friends in a few days.

In the fall before snow falls, projects from the Show Grounds that need work are brought to Larson Welding in Fargo. The second Saturday of the month some of us Rollagians gather at the shop to work on the projects and have some fellowship.

This will be the last Work Weekend for this winter. Steam Up is planned for Saturday, April 11.

A good crew, we got a good noon meal and some fellowship.
See you next month at Steam Up.

Hi all,

I didn't get captions put into Post #5 quick enough. You will have to scroll up and down to put them together.

Picture 1 Jeff K looking at the boiler for a small train engine.

Picture 2 A fitting for the press that makes the Souvenir Plates getting bored out.

Picture 3 A 40 Hp Case that the Larson Welding crew is working on. The Work Weekend crew did not do any work on this engine.

Picture 4 Gary M and grandsons painting extension wheels for Ken's Case steam engine.

Picture 5 Tom H looking at one of two new grates for a steam engine. I was told what engine they are for, but I didn't write it down and I forgot. Can someone provide that info?

Picture 6 Setting up to clean up the holes in the grates that Tom was looking at. The holes weren't made bigger, any slag in the holes was cleaned up.

Picture 7 Solving problems of the world.

Picture 9 Another shot of the painting crew that Gary was supervising.
