I managed to sneak in and get a few pictures of the 2011 Steam School class in progress. Lead instructor Tom Hall told me it was a great class, and with the weather cooperating the 2011 session was a resounding success!

One of the "Professors" Ray Wangler shows the students the different types of valves and explains the differences between them.

Other Professors wait their turn... I recognize Pete, Gerry, and Jeff... and I think Bob (way in back) is observing. Not sure who is hidden.

Outside the classroom, WMSTR President Ellis Aakre and Steam School Dean, co-founder, and one of the lead professors Tom Hall, discuss the 2011 class, the weather, and other things WMSTR!

Congratulations to the class of 2011, and to Tom and Gerry for another successful year!

Mark, it was a great class! Insightful students (made a guy think with the questions they had!). I've heard our school ranks among the top in the country, (having never attended another), I think the founders and deans (Tom and Gerry) have made it something great and I'm glad to be a part of it!

Ellis really inspired the group. He talked about people taking the knowledge they got at Rollag to their home shows to make the hobby safer overall. I never thought of it that way, it inspired me to be a better instructor...........thanks Ellis!
