This is a call to ALL volunteers / Members the weeks are closing in on show time and there's still a bunch of work left to!!! We won't have the normal pre show help from Clay County like we normally would.
I had started a thread about pre show wood cutting earlier. That will be happening this weekend 8/18 PLEASE if you use wood in any form come help cut. There's a lot that is needed, The stock pile is extremely low.
There are a few trees that need to be taken down too before campers start moving in.
The rope around the Railroad tracks needs to be put up.
There's a lot of weed whipping and grass mowing that needs to be done around the grounds.
Ice cream stands need to be cleaned out.
Various painting projects around the grounds.
The style show gals are looking for someone to help install an A/C unit in their dressing room. (Contact Rachel M)
I'm sure that there is more on the white boards in the Mercantile if you know of any other areas that need help please list them here and at the Mercantile.
