Now that I have your attention Another month has flown by and it is time for for another Donut tasting weekend with fresh gourmet donuts trucked in all the way from West Fargo on a seat with a bun warmer on it to ensure that the correct temperature is maintained for optimum flavor whew all that in one breath

I was contacted by someone with an interest in Donut Portraits But when this indivdual said he wanted several different Portraits I was a little confused but after his explanation it all became clear

He said last year he had a terrible time keeping critters out of his garden he even went so far as to hang a picture of his mother in law and that did nothing He then said he had been on the forum looking at some of the Donut tasting pictures and thought to himself if those pictures do not work I will just give up gardening

That being said We also have a few peices of show equipment that need a little T L C Bleed brakes on loader assemble air compressor with new piston rings if parts came in, Mount a remote power steering resvoir and hose on power steering on forklift clean and paint mucker pull tracks off of D2 repair crowd engine parts for Marion Osgood shovel to name a few

For those you who are interested in useless information I can assure you that it will be there in abundance I don't know what chef Jerry has on the menu But If we we can keep Wimpy from bothering him to much it will be delicous as always

I have also received a few comments that the time between the work weekends is to long Sofor one time only We are going to move the February to the first weekend of the month so be sure and mark that on your calender

Hope to see you there on Saturday

Don't know what the heck happened with this post. It showed up in my alert box as unapproved?? Should be OK now.

Great pictures Louie! I am pretty sure that I am on the phone (hand to ear) probably warning others that Louie is on the loose with the donut cam!

The picture of Jerry, donut in hand... has been sought after for many years! It is indeed a trophy!

Now... Here is one of the pictures I took of Pedersen when we ambushed him with cameras. I added some notation to explain what is going on.

First of all... when one sees the obvious aluminum can. One would assume it is a can containing some adult beverage, but lo... it is actually another Pedersen staple, DIet Coke! Mark uses this to repair the damage done the (late) night before when he and a certain WMSTR member (who blows up barrels) closed up Larson Welding quite late. It is not unusual to see him with a can of DC before he gets out of bed in the morning, when conditions warrant.

The picture is a little blurry, because he had actually been paining for a while and was getting the hang of it! His hand was moving so fast with that brush that it blurred the whole picture!

All kidding aside, it was good to see him there!

If you have never been to one of these gatherings, you need to make one. Put it on your bucket list! Even if there is not enough work to keep everyone busy 100% of the time, there is plenty of time to "catch up" on what is going on in each others lives, and problem solving. You always see lots of smiles in the pictures shared here!

It was sure a good time. Mark is right, if you haven't worked with this crew other than at the show, you should get a Larson Welding work Saturday under your belt, it's a hoot!

thanks again Jim and Lynette for the use of the shop, I don't know how we'd keep all the show equipment running without you!
