To all Allis Chalmers Expo 2010 enthusiasts-
Roger and I have been working on the "B" Allis raffle tractor. We have torn it down and sandblasted everything. We have purchased many new parts and are now beginning to reassemble it. I will attach a picture of it in its current state. It is a good little tractor and should be nicer than when it came out of the factory.

Merlyn,

Looking good! I have posted this thread as a link on the Rollag.com Expo page, so feel free to continue posting more progress photos here, and they'll be visible from the main Rollag.com site as well!

tickets

Well Rick I can set you up. How many books do you want to buy?

Who is selling the tickets? How much? I would also like to buy some and have several family members ask how to get them.

This weekend the Tractor will be at the Hawley Rodeo. Larry and Anne Elton are in charge of it this weekend. We will have the tractor at the Summer Meeting. Then I believe Wayne Nelson is taking it to Summer Fest in Mayville, July 4th Yancy is taking the tractor to the Erhart Parade. Raffle tickets usually go along with the tractor. We will be selling tickets at the Show also. Plus there are plenty of weekends between now and show time for people to volunteer to take the tractor.. Various people do have tickets to sell, and if you are interested in getting some tickets to sell please contact Yancy Wifall.

Eileen i would like to take the tractor a couple of times once for the Pennington Co. Fair in July and also on Aug 7th for a car show in Thief River who would i need to get a hold of to make arangements for them dates. Will find the dates for the fair. Thanks Jeff

Jeff, I have you down on the Calendar for August 7th, and for the Pennington County Fair which is, July 21st thru the 25th.

When it gets closer to the time to get the tractor, get ahold of me or Merlyn or Roger Meyer and we will let you know where the tractor is..

I've got just enough left for you Rick!!:rof: Be sure to bring you check book when you come down

The Raffle tractor will be going thru its first parade today, the Hawley Rodeo Parade. Its all possible because of the hard work Merlyn and Roger Meyer did to restore that tractor!! You guys did a awesome job! Enjoy showing off that tractor!!!
Lets all give them a big thank you next time we see them!!!
:congrats:

Eileen,
Thanks for the complement, but you should have listed Roger's name first, as he did most of the work. I mostly did only tear down and cleaning and securing replacement parts. Don't forget to thank Brett Lien for the good looking paint job on the tractor! I hope there will be plenty of people that will step up and "gently" take the tractor to parades, fairs, etc. and sell a lot of tickets.

:congrats:Oh yes, we must thank Brett... That paint job is super!! THANK YOU BRETT!!!:congrats:
