Style Show Work Weekend - 2009

Hey everyone! We are planning to have a work weekend for the Style Show the weekend of Steam School in 2009. We will fixing buttons, zippers, etc. and making repairs to the clothing.

We aren't sure of the exact times yet, but wanted to give everyone a heads up well in advance...hopefully we can get a good crowd!! An

More info for Style Show work weekend...

The Style Show work day is going to be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009. This is the Saturday of Steam School weekend and is also Kids Day out at WMSTR.

We will meet in the Style Show room at the TMB at 10:00AM to repair buttons, zippers, etc. on any clothes that need a little TLC.

Please bring a sack lunch and any snacks that you think you will need.

Joan Keiffer and I will be going to Rollag prior to the 20th to organize the clothes and figure out what needs to be done, so everything will be ready when we get there.

Sewing Machine

We already have one sewing machine available, which should be enough. It looks like most of the work will need to be done by hand anyway, so we should be able to get by with just the one machine if we end up needing one!

Style Show

We don't usually have a lot to do in the Boutique until a week before the show, so I'll be up around 10. If we do decide to stain a new cabinet for the boutique, I can always do that on Sunday.
