John Deere R gets a workout pumping water

Took this video at the 2023 show. This is after Clayton made the modifications to the feed water system for the pump. Having run the pump in '22 and '23 with this tractor, it was a very noticeable change in the load! Granted, it was in the 90's when this video was shot, but I had to quit when the temp gauge got up to 200˚ F. I have never seen that tractor that warm, even when plowing with it. Look at the smoke!

Outstanding display Clayton and Jane (and Jon too). I am sure there are more improvements coming!

Now that the forum is working well again, if you have any video of a some other HP on this pump, please post it in this thread. I do and will do so when I have more time to upload it to YouTube.

Yes Mark, some of the new improvements will involve you and Craig M.
Also I plan on having the big LeRoi running the pump next fall. With the provision of using it or a steam engine.
